How it works

Create a rule by choosing its conditions and payment-method action.
Shopify evaluates enabled rules from top to bottom at checkout.
The first matching rule is applied, then evaluation stops.
Turn a rule off to remove it from evaluation without deleting it.

Method targeting

Matching is case-insensitive.

Shopify limitations

The app cannot add payment providers or make a method eligible when Shopify does not offer it.
Some branded payment methods, wallets, and accelerated checkout options cannot always be renamed or reordered.
Unsupported actions are skipped safely instead of breaking checkout.

Can this app add new payment methods?

No. It controls eligible payment methods that Shopify already provides at checkout. It cannot add a payment provider or bypass Shopify eligibility rules.

Do multiple enabled rules apply at the same time?

No. Rules are evaluated from top to bottom. The first enabled rule whose conditions match is applied, then evaluation stops.

Why did a rename or reorder not apply?

Some branded payment methods and wallets cannot always be renamed or reordered because of how Shopify renders them. The app skips unsupported operations safely.

Can a rule hide every payment method and break checkout?
