How it works

The app checks orders in the background, opens clear issues on Home, and leaves the final decision with your team.

Possible duplicates

  • Flags a possible duplicate only when several details match instead of guessing from matching totals.
  • Checks several strong matching details: related cart or checkout information, the same items and quantities, the same total and currency, and close timing.
  • Matching totals alone are not enough to create a duplicate issue.
  • Open both affected Shopify orders, then choose Resolved or Not a duplicate.

Shipping risk

  • Flags refunded or cancelled orders when Shopify still shows that the order may be shipped.
  • Shows the affected order on Home for merchant review.
  • Opens the Shopify order directly so your team can confirm what should happen next.
  • Does not automatically cancel fulfillment, refund an order, or contact the customer.

Stuck orders

  • Watches partially fulfilled orders that remain incomplete longer than your saved delay.
  • Choose 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days, or 14 days.
  • Checks run automatically; you do not need to run them manually.
  • Use the Home issue and Shopify order link to review the order when it is flagged.

Does FP1 - Duplicate Order Check change my storefront?

No. It runs in Shopify Admin and does not add anything to your storefront.

How does the possible duplicate check work?

The check is deliberately conservative. It only flags a possible duplicate when several details line up, such as related cart or checkout information, the same items and quantities, the same total and currency, and close timing within about 20 minutes. Matching totals alone are not enough.

When is an order flagged as a shipping risk?

A shipping-risk issue can be opened when an order is refunded or cancelled while Shopify still shows that the order may be shipped. The app flags the issue for review and does not automatically cancel fulfillment.

What counts as a stuck order?

A partially fulfilled order can be flagged when it stays incomplete past the saved delay. Available delays are 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days, and 14 days.

How do email alerts work?

Email alerts are optional. When enabled, a new issue can send an internal email with a direct link to the affected Shopify order. Issues still appear on Home when email alerts are off.

How does billing work?

The first 40 unique orders monitored are included free and the allowance does not expire. No billing approval is required for Free. Choose Upgrade to Unlimited in the app for $4.99 USD every 30 days when you want unlimited monitoring. Paid monitoring does not use your remaining Free allowance. If you later choose Cancel Unlimited, future billing stops. Unlimited remains active until the end of your current paid billing period, then your plan returns to Free with the allowance you had left. There is no partial refund for unused time in the current paid period, and the 40-order lifetime allowance does not reset.
